Lifting up prayers for Markesha and her family. I worked with Markesha on the Bon Secours Float Pool. She was someone who helped to train me when I was new. She was supportive and helpful and did not hold back to give a compliment if she felt one was earned. I respected the fact that Markesha worked by day in one job and went to school at night to get certified for another. The world needs more people like Markesha and I was blessed to have met her and work with her. Prayers for her sons and family as you mourn this loss. I hope that you will choose to live life like your mom. She was a great lady!

It's hard saying good bye to a person whom brought so much for so many. In the limited time we shared together, I found out a lot about you. Putting the kids at the top of the priority list was just one of the things that I truly admired about you. When it came to lending a listen ear or helping out you were there for many. If you set a goal you made sure you met it. If others told you about a goal they wanted to meet you stayed on them and gave them the support they needed to reach it. You are ONE OF A KIND and never be forgotten. You will be truly truly missed Markesha. Doing these times of hardship I can't express the love respect and support that continue coming from the from your family and friends. I know you are looking down on us with that beautiful smile. My mini me in some ways niece Kesha. My heart is heavy as you have departed from us so unexpected. Keisha was just starting middle school,when I met her through friendship with her MOM. She was always so respectable and kind. Keisha was my Friend over 20 years, we talked at least 3 times a week, I always ask how are you feeling today, it's always the same, I have good and bad days but I'm good she never let me know she wasn't good but I knew, all your worries and pain are taken care of now you are resting in the perfect hands I love you Keshia.

When I think of MarKesha strength and determination comes to mind! She was a strong, loving, hard working, good hearted woman, who always not matter what put her sons first. I'm going to miss you Kesha and some of our crazy conversations!!

It's not tough to smile when remembering Markesha because she made it easy to like and laugh with her...I remember smiling with her mostly when we were just neighborhood cousins..losing touch as adults, but when seen again hugging and smiling as if no time had passed..its hard knowing she's passed on, but harder not smiling when thinking of her :)...We're Praying For Everyone affected by this loss..Play Cousin from The Eddings' on Edwards.
