CONDOLENCES TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS FROM
S.A. MERRITT PASMAN AND FAMILY
My condolences go out to the family. I was a shampoo girl at Ebony Hair Fashion and worked for Ms. Baker during my High School years. This was my first job and I learned so much from Ms. Baker. Ms. Baker was always so sweet but very stern. She would pick me up early Saturday mornings to go to work at the salon. She will be truly missed. Kevin, my prayers are with you and your family. Love Jackie Smith Webb
I was fortunate to have been a client of Ms. Baker starting as little girl and continuing to adulthood. She will be missed. You all have my deepest condolences.

To my Brother Kevin (DW), nephews Devin, Aziz and family. What can one say that can soften the hurt and loss of your Mom's,Grandma, Auntie and friend. I meet Kevin and his Mam Ms Baker( Mary B.) in 1981. Mary B. is Kevin mother and she became a mother to myself. One of GODS ANGEL and truly, truly will be miss but not forgotten. Love, Peace and Blessings to my family. Derick & Wanda Hopson.
Mary was much more than my next-door neighbor for the past 25 years. We watched out for each other, prayed for one another's situations, talked politics and city government, life and our families and other things. She was loving, straight forward, spiritual, and I just loved the way she called you, "Baby". I was often amazed at her energy level and asked her how she kept up the pace. She'd smile and tell me, "Baby, I was raised in the country, and this is what I'm used to." I am honored to have known her and spend time with her on our life's journey.
To the family: I send my condolences. I especially want to express my love to Sheila Gallo Tezeno and Jackie Gallo Elliott and Keith Gallo. I didn't know Mary but I know her family. Joyce Coleman Jones Beaumont, Texas
Our family was blessed to become one of the multiple generations of clients Ms. Mary served; along with our daughters and granddaughters we shared a deep love and family bond with her and Kevin throughout the years. Ms. Mary was a remarkable woman - highly respected, committed to her craft, feisty, authentic, generous, kind and compassionate. A woman of strength like Maya Angelou's "Phenomenal Woman", excellence and great faith according to Proverbs 31: 28, "Her children arise and call her blessed"; Ms. Mary made a difference in many lives and will be greatly missed. We pray God's peace and comfort for Kevin, Devin, Aziz and family as you celebrate her life and cherish the wonderful memories. Love, The Watkins Family (Jim, Charlene, Racquel, Lauren, Frankye and Fahren)
To the family: I send my deepest condolences for the passing of Ms. Mary. She will live forever in our memories. Our deepest sympathies and prayers are with you all during this time of loss. May God walk with you and guide you through.
