Obituary For Merry Bassett
Merry C. Bassett, 61, of Quinton, VA, died June 22, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Tamara R. Bassett.
Surviving are her husband, Edwin T. Bassett; 2 sons, Tedwin C. and Thaeron E. Bassett; 6 grandchildren; 7 sisters, Martha (Raymond) Pankey, Marion Lelso, Mable (Richard) Kidd, Doreatha (Leroy) Woolridge, Beverly (Michael) Mathews, Lucille (Eddie) Ferguson, and Linda (Terry) Johnson; brother, Obediah (Lois) McCoy; brother-in-law, Richard Hamtell; host of nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Funeral services will be held 12:30 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2019 at Second Liberty Baptist Church, 8140 G. W. Watkins Road, Quinton, VA. Rev. Shaun Young, officiating.
