Obituary For Peter H. Bailey, Jr.

Peter "Pjay" Huggins Bailey Jr., 41, formerly of Richmond, Virginia, transitioned from this life Friday, August 27, 2021, at Sinai Hospital in Maryland, where he resided. He was the manager of For Eyes Optical Center, Owings Mills, Maryland, where he was highly respected by his co-workers and corporate officials, for his dedication, loyalty, and strong work ethic. Pjay was a proud veteran, having been honorably discharged from the United States Army. Cherishing Pjay’s memory are daughters, Daija Bailey, Shayla Bailey, and their mother, LaTiah Bailey; sons, Braxton Bailey, Princeton Bailey, and their mother, Crystal Haynes of Maryland; parents, Peter H. Bailey, Sr. (Brenda), and Valerie Braxton-Williams (Howard); sister, Tanya Nettles; stepsisters, Sheena Wilson and Victoria Cunningham (Déon); stepbrothers, Howard “Chip” Williams, Jr. and Kenyon Williams; aunts, Charleen Bailey, Ellen Duck (Charles) of South Carolina, Gwendolyn B. Plymouth, and Bonita B. Trusty (George); Uncle, Moses Braxton, Jr. of Illinois; Devoted cousins, Michael A Braxton, Kiana Lewis (Ramsey), Shaniqua Tyler, and Matthew Moore; devoted friends, Randy Myers, Dominique Oliver, Marcus Williams, Dominique Clark, and Tony Owen, and many other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott’s Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd, where viewing will be held Thursday, September 2, 2021, 10 AM – 7 PM.
