Rev. Dr. Drucilla (Dru) Payne Roane, of Richmond, journeyed to her heavenly home September 10, 2022. After retiring as a manager of 26 years from Philip Morris, USA, Dru earned two masters degrees and a doctorate; and created a Grief and Counseling program at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Glen Allen, Virginia. Dru is survived by her devoted son, Robert (Bobby) Wiggins, Jr.; a host of cousins to include, Daphine Pride, Artreyia Vaughan (Sam) of California and Darlene Kiah (Randy); step-brother, Richard Cokes; sisters-in-law, Otelia Boswell and Linda Lynch; devoted care giver, Florence Thompson; devoted friends, Dr. Deborah Martin, Dr. and Mrs. Glenn E. Porter, Sr., Dr. Ayo Robinson, Dr. Eric Jackson, Rev. Sam Maye, Mrs. Deborah Miller, other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, September 22, at Roselawn Memory Gardens, 13389 Mountain Road, Glen Allen. Arrangements by Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd.
