It saddened me greatly when I was told of Rosa's passing. Working at Anthem BCBS side by side with her daily was encouraging in many ways. Most importantly, she shared the love of God daily. Also, she was always willing to be of help to others. She will be missed by many. May God now shower her with His promised rewards. Karen, Regina,Tony and family just hold to God's unchanging hand. My memories of Rosa go back to my preschool days our families lived on Jackson Street in Navy Hill. She and my older sister Joyce were good friends. When I last saw her earlier this year, as always, she flashed that beautiful smile and we caught up talking about our families. Rosa will be missed immensely. You were an amazing person that had tons of love to give. Not only you were God-Mother, but my second mom. From the times my mom and I came to your house to visit, to seeing you at church. I'm very blessed and grateful to have been apart of your life as well as you in mine for these 37 years of my life. When I play the drums forward from now on, I will always remember you saying, "Give the drummer some." Aunt Rosa, I love you to the moon and back and you'll always be in my heart. Rosa I would like to thank you for taking care of me one summer, I had to attend summer school. you would take me to school, pick me up from school, and every day you would fix me homemade French fries, sitting in the kitchen nook looking at a little black and white tv. I will never forget how special you made me feel, that is a memory forever in my thoughts of you. As I got older we would always talk and you always made me feel good about how I was leading my life, and I just want to thank you from my whole heart, you will be forever in my heart.
