Thank you Lord for the Angel that you sent named Rosa Smith. She was one of the Sweetest neighbors. And, she treated me like she had known me from birth. She and Deacon Smith would often give me rides to and from church when I was younger. I will never forget the rides in that gold Mercury Cougar. Mrs. Smith had such a sweet spirit and a tenderness and I thank God for placing her in my path as a youngster. Ericka Broaddus Johnson
Raye, your mom will live in our hearts forever. Our condolences to you and the family. We're here for you always. Poem for you and the family.... Rosa will live forever. We love you. Do Not Stand At My Grave and Weep - Anonymous Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn’s rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hush, I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. I did not die.

Sweet Rosa, I’ve been thinking about the last day we saw each other, and the last time I was able to give you one last hug. Over the past 4 years of knowing you- since I was a student up until working at Parham, I have been blessed beyond measure to have known you and see your smiling, uplifting face when I walked into work. Your spirit was beautiful, and you had a heart of gold. When you sang songs of praise to God, I know his heart was warmed. You left an impression on everyone’s hearts, and I will always miss seeing you every day. Raye, you had such a wonderful mother. Seeing her light up when she saw you was one of the most precious things. I continue to pray for you and the family during this time. One day, you will see her again- and it’ll be like she never left. Take care Raye and the family. -Anna
