Obituary For Samson O. Oshunkentan
Dr. Samson O. Oshunkentan, of Asunmo Compound, Ede, Osun State, Nigeria was called home on December 2, 2022, in Fairfax, Virginia at the age of 81. He was surrounded by his children. The world has lost a dedicated son, brother, husband, father, and educator but Heaven has gained an angel. Samson was blessed with a large and loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph Famuyiwa Alade Oshunkentan and Wuraola Adedamola Alari, three siblings, and his beloved wife, Mrs. Bisi Arinola Oshunkentan. He is survived by Mrs. Abiola Mustapha Oshunkentan as well as his children, Solomon Oshunkentan, Sunday Oshunkentan, Adeola Oshunkentan, Adedayo Oshunkentan Belizaire, Olushola Oshunkentan, Lydia Oshunkentan, and Victoria Oshunkentan. He is also survived by 5 siblings, 10 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. The viewing will be held from 4-7pm Friday, January 6, 2023, Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd, Richmond, VA. The memorial service will be held at 11am Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 6100 Cornerstone Blvd, North Chesterfield, VA.

Dr. Oshunkentan was one of my professors while i attended Saint Pauls College. He was probably one of the best professors i had while there. His passion for the discipline of business, gave me my passion and made me a much better student. His wise words, smile and laugh will he missed. May you all (his family) stay strong and know that he is now with the ancestors and at the right hand of the omnipotent one. Peace, Luv and Blessings to you all.
