Obituary For Sharon Deanen Saunders
Sharon D. Saunders, 54, of Richmond, died March 9, 2024. Surviving are her mother, Joyce Saunders; sister, Kecia Saunders; brother, Eric Saunders; great niece, Tremiyah Saunders; great nephew, Antione Saunders, Jr., other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Thursday, March 14 from 10 a.m. 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Friday, March 15 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.

To the Saunders family, I'm sorry for your loss. I found out today about Sharon's passing at work when I saw her mom and sister. As a child, Sharon and I would play together all the time. Sharon and I would play and get mad at one another, then squash it and play again. She was so funny and so much fun to be around. Her jokes were hilarious. I hadn't seen the family in over 40 year, but immediately recognized Keisha. Keisha was always telling us to stop fussing with one another like a big sister. Those were the good ole days, never forgotten. Rest in peace my childhood friend. Andrea
