Obituary For Shelly Campbell Johnson

Shelly Ann Campbell Johnson "Teena", of Richmond, departed this life Monday, February 17, 2020 and is resting in the arms of her beloved grandmother, Carmen Watson. She was born January 30, 1979 to Carl Campbell and Patricia Brown in Kingston, Jamaica. She came to America at an early age where she received her formal education in Henrico County Public Schools. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Hungary Road Baptist Church. She enjoyed dancing, make-up, uplifting others with her daily inspiration on social media with over 5,000 followers, selfies and spending time with her family and friends. Her lifelong dream was to be an actress and she was cast in the television series, The Good Lord Bird, episodes 6, 7 and 8. Left to cherish her memories are her husband, James M. Johnson, III; four children to whom she devoted her love and life, Jay'Nique (Bonus daughter Brielle), Jay'Vin, Kingston and Lyrik; "Glam-ma" to Dior' A. Johnson; brother, Shane Anderson; sisters, Crystal Brown and Paris Cort; dedicated aunt, Margaret Savage (Winston Savage); special cousins, Cadine, Toni; a host of nieces, nephews; mother and father-in-law, James Johnson, Sr. and Lucille Johnson; brothers-in-law, Theodore Wescott, Terrance Ames and James Johnson, Jr.; sisters-in-law, Nikki Johnson and Alicia Richardson (Zack); bonus sisters, Nikki (best friend), Kaycie, Jasmine, Krystal, Crystal P; bonus aunts, Cynthia, Pam, Connie, Marsha and many friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, February 27 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Rev. Angelo Chatmon officiating. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens.

My dear Teena, my sister you're truly missed. But I know you're with our Heavenly Father and you now have a change of address. I know your new mansion is finished and waiting for you. It such a beautiful sight to behold. It's located on an exclusive estate and sits behind a beautiful Pearly Gate where the street is paved with gold and every day will be Sunday I have been told. There will be peace, joy, and happiness there with no more pain to bear. No strife, or discontent there is only sweet serenity everywhere around. So rest on my sweet Teena you will be forever in my heart.
