Shirley E. Wilkinson, 87, of Richmond, was called to her Heavenly Father on August 31, 2022. She retired from Deborah Heart and Lung Center in New Jersey after 43 years of service. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Allan and Nellie Wilkinson and brother, Earl "Chick" Wilkinson. Left to cherish her memory are her son whom she loved and adored, Kyle Norman; sisters, Elsie Pryor (Roger); Gloria Woods and Judith Burgess; brothers Gary Wilkinson (Sharon); Ricky Wilkinson (Joann) and Gene Wilkinson (Carol); a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and and devoted friends, Kathy Simmons, Rosa Jackson, Marlene Bailey, Lucille Jones and her loving goddaughter, Harlean Saunders-Fox. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. where viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2022. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, September 9 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
