Shirley Mae Gunn Abrams, of Richmond, died June 4, 2022 at Memorial Regional Medical Center at 5:33 p.m. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Lilia Johnson Gunn; daughter, Lilia Alease Abrams; son, William H. Abrams, III and brother, Robert Gunn. Surviving are her sons, Charles "Bubba", James "Neal" (Cookie) and Jason Abrams; daughter, Shirley Montreats Christian; twenty-three grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; one step-brother; three step-sisters; aunt, Ellen Johnson; devoted cousins, Loretta Green and George Epps, other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Friday June 10, 2022 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Rev. Beatrice Gresham officiating. Interment private.
