Shirley M. NeSmith, 81, of Richmond, died January 5, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie L. NeSmith; son, Freddie Vines, Jr. and grandson, Surviving are her son, Melvin Vines (Ventta); two daughters, Mary Vines Smith (Iran) and June A. Moore; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Mary J. Suggs; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Wednesday, January 13 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. A private funeral service will be held 9:30 a.m. Thursday, January 14 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E.
