Torrie M. Carter, 52, of Glen Allen, VA, died December 23, 2022. She was preceded in death by her father, Kermit E. Carter. Surviving are her son, Jerell M. Austin (Kiara M. ); two granddaughters, Keiasia and Jeniyah Austin: mother, Carol M. Carter; sister, Tonija Freeman; niece, Dominique Freeman; great niece, Londyn Browder; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Friday, January 6 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 7 at Scott's Chapel, 116 E.
