Velma Ruth Bunch, of Richmond, departed this life August 30, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Mattie Langley, her husband William Bunch and ten siblings. Left to cherish her memories are her devoted son, Curtis Langley; four grandchildren, Curt, Cory, Kimberly and Curtis II; five great-grandchildren, Zar, Alana, Eligah, Ashanti, and Amina; a daughter-in-law, Joyce Langley; a devoted nephew, Milton Broadie and a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2024. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, September 9, 2024 at From The Heart Church Ministries of Richmond, 3300 Neale St., and where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Pastor James Z. Ransom, officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
