Obituary For William Lee Martin
William L. Martin, " Huck" " Dollar Bill" of North Chesterfield, departed this life January 11, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Leroy and Mary Virginia Martin.Surviving are his wife, Jill N. Martin; daughter, Crystal J. Martin; four sisters, Edith Valentine, Geraldine Carter, Bernice "Boo" Brooks and Mary Lee; mother-in-law, Ernestine E. Saunders; two sisters-in-law, Tiby J. Gomez (Joel), Rosemary A. Byrd (James); two brothers-in-law, Charleston R. Saunders (Mary) and Charlesland R. Saunders (Phyllis) several nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. A special thank you to Cassandra Gray, Russell Morton, Frederick Gray and James W. "JP" Pryor. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where a walk through visitation will be held Friday, January 22, from 12 noon to 7 p.m.. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4000 Pilots Lane.

To the Williams Family: My sincere condolences in the loss of your husband and father, William. I attended middle school and high school with William. He was a kind, mild mannered, quiet individual, as I remember. May he rest in peace. May you find comfort in knowing he is now in the hand of the Lord, resting and may the comfort of God's grace surround you every day until you all meet again.

To Jill & Crystal, We were very sorry to hear of the death of your husband. He and my mother (Josephine Bell) went to the same dialysis years ago. We share your grief but we know that he is not suffering now and that we have the hope of seeing our dead loved ones again in the resurrection (John 5:28-29).
