I remember my cousins coming to my Aunt Novella Minor's events. I remember cousin Willie had a gentle and friendly smile. She and Mr. Ward were cordial and warm. We always found something to chat about. I was naturally drawn to them. My condolences Sherry and Robert. She was a bright and blessed light. I have a couple of casual photos of her with the Minor family, if the family wants to see them. Let me know. Penny McPherson pennymcphe@gmail.com.
Love never ends, it's always as close as a beloved memory. I pray that God will strengthen you and bless you always. Sincerely, Doris Johnson Jasper and family.
Words cannot suffice to express the sorrow in the loss of Willie Bennett Ward. We have fond memories of the many years of friendship with Robert & Willie as he operated his printing business at the same location with my husband Dr.Benjamin J. Lambert, III. I feel like we are like family and will treasure the memories always.
To The Ward Family: My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May God grant you strength, comfort and peace today and in the days to come. Derith Hatcher Rising Mount Zion Baptist Church
The Ward Family has been my neighbors for almost 40 years and they are the best neighbors and friends one could have. Willie had such a kind, gentle and giving spirit and we shared much over the years. I have been missing her a lot since her decline became obvious and I will miss her forever. I pray she is now resting in peace, and that God will give Robert, Sherry and Donald comfort and strength as they hold fast to sweet, sweet memories. Love, Mary DePillars
