Dr Gibson was my Doctor for 15 years. He was such a great person. He will be missed.

My heart breaks to hear of Dr. Don Albert Gibson's passing. I have fond memories of growing up with him as a camper at Pioneer Ministries and Camp Pioneer. Don was always the steady one in our group, ranging then from 10 to 15 years of age during the early 1960s. We shared a love for Camp Pioneer and learning about Christ's love for us each week, as well as His desire for us to have a more abundant life. The lesson learned in a Christian environment underpinned Don's incredible success. He was a role model for many and has left an indelible impact on the Jackson community. While we mourn his passing, we thank God that he lived and had such a positive impact on so many!

My condolences to the Gibson family. Don was my mom's doctor for many years. I will never forget his kindness, compassion and skill in caring for her. His legacy will never be forgotten.

Praying for the family

Dr Gibson was my mother's doctor for at least 25 years or more. He was such a kind soul and very dedicated to his profession. He would work tirelessly at his clinic all day and make hospital rounds morning and night. May God bless his family and Dr Gibson eternal peace.

Medical colleague, mentor to me when I was a medical student. Next door neighbors. Your 5 children grew up with my four. A compassionate doctor - an even better man. You will always be a part of us.
