The funeral services for the late Mr. Christopher Walker, who departed this life on Saturday, March 14, 2026, will be held graveside on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. from the Westview Memorial Cemetery in Ashburn, Georgia. Reverend Christopher Douglas will deliver the Eulogy.
Mr. Christopher Walker, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, was born on March 23, 1979 in Turner County, Georgia to Mr. Major Walker and the late Mrs. Bobbie Jean Walker. Christopher closed his eyes in his sleep on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at his home in Valdosta, Georgia.
Christopher was a very resilient person, honest and free-spirited, with a great heart. He loved his family and children. As a semi-truck driver, Chris was known for his strong work ethics, long hours on the road, and unwavering commitment to supporting his family. He found pleasure in listening to music and socializing with friends.
Christopher leaves to cherish his memories of his life his wife, Katina Toombs Walker of Valdosta, GA; four children, Nautica M. Walker, Anijah N. Walker, both of Ashburn, GA, Takera S. Spooner of Valdosta, GA, and Zavian M. Lawton of Duluth, GA; grandchildren, Landon A. Walker of Ashburn, GA, Elijah O. Ross, Jace A. Jones, both of Valdosta, GA; his father, Major Walker; siblings, Willie James (Maria) Walker of Rochester, NY, Horace (Sonya) Walker of Valdosta, GA, Latoya Walker of Ashburn, GA; nieces, Alexis Walker, Takeyla Johnson, Danielle Johnson, all of Ashburn, GA, Jazmyn Walker of Rochester, NY; nephew, Jakob Walker of Valdosta, GA; great niece, Katlyn Bateman of Ashburn, GA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
