Earlene Davis Solomon fell asleep in death on April 6, 2024 after a short illness .

Earlene was born on May 22, 1938 in Sylvester Georgia to the late Ulysee, Sr. and Anna Langley Davis. She was educated in the Worth County Public School System. She worked at several jobs while residing in New Jersey. The longest one where she retired from was at United Hospital in Newark, New Jersey.

She studied and dedicated her life to Jehovah on January 25, 1958. Earlene loved teaching people about Jehovah’s Kingdom and its blessings. This motivated her to join the Pioneer ranks in September 1998. She had the joy of going to Pioneer School with her grandson for the first time. She enjoyed being in the ministry with her family and friends. She aided several people in the truth.

She loved reading and studying the Bible. She was an excellent cook and house keeper. She always wanted her clothes to reflect who she was; She was always ready to give a witness.

Earlene was known to have had a calm and sweet personality. Friends could be heard referring to her as "Sis. Solomon she's so sweet". When asked why she handled certain situations the way she did when people were nasty, her response was it was her way of putting on the new personality. 2 Peter 3:11 and Colossians 3:10.

Earlene was predeceased in death by her parents, her husband William Solomon and siblings: Leanna, Louise, Mike, Ike, Sarah, John Will, Ezekiel and John Henry.

Earlene will be missed and survived by her son Jimmie (Deliese-Tonie); grandson Jemuel (Randi) and granddaughter Rajanai; great granddaughters Sophia, Natalie, Katherine and Zanniyah who affectionately named her “Grandma Grandma”; siblings Minnie Pearl Young, Mary Helene Booker, Ulysee Davis, Jr., Barbara Johnson (Bill); along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and spiritual family.

As she neared the end of her life in this system, She stayed positive by focusing on the Paradise and the blessings ahead. "She said "It will not be late."

In her final minutes of life, Earlene was reminded that she had "Run the race successfully until the end, it was okay to close her eyes and sleep. She is loved and all look forward to seeing her in Paradise." Earlene final thought was probably "It will not be late."
