The funeral services for the late Mrs. Elizabeth Moses, who departed this life on Monday, December 16, 2019, at Wynfield Park Health and Rehabilitation in Albany, Georgia, will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from the Berachah Fellowship Church in Albany, Georgia, with the Pastor, Prophet Ronald Smith, officiating. Burial will follow in the Shepard Memorial Garden Cemetery in Sylvester, Georgia.
Mrs. Elizabeth Nichols Moses was born in Sylvester, Georgia on November 17, 1922. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Walter G. Nichols, Sr. and the Mrs. Fannie Killings Nichols. She was the youngest of six children whom all preceded her in death.
Elizabeth was educated in the Worth County Public School System.
She was joined in wedlock to the late Mr. Lemon Moses. This union was blessed with two children.
Sister Elizabeth enjoyed working with her flowers and spending time with her family. She also loved working with her crafts and sewing.
On Monday night, December 16, 2019, Mrs. Elizabeth Moses, better known by her loved ones as “Honey”, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Even though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we realize that Honey lived a full and blessed life to the age of 97 years old. She wouldn’t want us to be weary with grief but to celebrate her life.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Jacqueline (Truman) Gervin, Linda M. Vance, both of Albany, Georgia; one stepson, Billy Shannon of Albany, Georgia; two grandchildren, Carl Andrew Gervin of Albany, Georgia, Carla Gervin of Dallas, Texas; three great grandchildren, Caiden, Leah and Caleb; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends all of whom will remember her in their hearts forever.
My deepest condolences to the Moses Family. Ms. Honey was a very sweet lady and she will definitely be missed.
