The funeral services for the late Mrs. Gwendolyn Williams, who departed this life on Saturday, December 6, 2025, will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from the Henry Hall Woolard Community Center in Sylvester, Georgia. Reverend Justin Lucas will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will follow in the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Sumner, Georgia.
Gwendolyn Williams, 59, of Sylvester, Georgia passed away on December 6, 2025 at her home surrounded by loved ones.
Gwen was born on January 9, 1966 at Worth County Hospital to the late Mrs. Dorothy Mae Gilford and the late Mr. Climmie D. Westbrook, Sr.
Gwen was educated in the Worth County Public School System, and graduated from Worth County High School in 1985. She later furthered her education at Moultrie Technical College by obtaining a CNA License. In 1998, Gwen began a long term career at ConAgra Brands, completing 22 years prior to the plant closing.
She will be remembered for her incredible spirit and unwavering support and deep love for family and friends.
Gwen is survived by her husband, Charlie Williams; her children, Horatio (Jennifer) Williams, Shar’ron (Jamil) Williams, Jamario (Sonya) Williams, Dametrius Westbrook, Detavius Hill; Siblings, Jerry (Kathleen) Williams, Marcia (Travis) Williams, Nakia Westbrook, Sonja Homer; her grandchildren, Ja’Niyah, Jamal, Jamel, Harlem, Madisyn, King, Jamario Jr, Jayden, Amiliah, Braden, Quay, Dametrius Jr, Marshawn, Lailani; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by parents, Dorothy and Melton Gilford, Climmie D. Westbrook ,Sr., and a brother, Climmie D. Westbrook, Jr.
