The funeral services for the late Mrs. Ida Joyce Ford, who departed this life on Saturday, February 7, 2026, will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 12:00 Noon, from the New Beginning Church of God By Faith in Sylvester, Georgia. Elder Ulysses Teague, Pastor, will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will follow in the Shepard Memorial Garden in Sylvester, Georgia.
Mrs. Ida Joyce Ford was born on March 14, 1946 in Sylvester, Georgia to the late Mr. and Mrs. John T. and Claudie Bell Sheffield Ford.
Joyce was educated in the Worth County Public School System and graduated from J. W. Holley High School.
Joyce gave her life to Christ and joined the House of Prayer Church during her early years. Later in life, she moved her membership to the New Beginning Church of God By Faith in Sylvester, Georgia.
Joyce was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Frank Ford. This union was blessed with two sons.
Joyce worked as a housekeeper. She was also a member of the Mary Alice Shipp Senior Citizen Center group.
Joyce gave up this busy walk of life on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Her parents, her husband, Frank Ford, and a son, Tony Ford, all preceded her in death.
Joyce leaves to cherish her memories her son, Robert Ford; her goddaughter, Kisha Allen; her sisters-in-law, Pauline Ford, Joyce Mallory; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.

I nick named her "Next Level Senior-Shero"! for driving a Sport Car, she would Gut-Laugh every time. A Faithful Servant of God, Grace & Kindness, and Sociable in her Community. Rest In Peace.
