To the family, who is left to grieve the loss of A kind man. I Had my first encounter with Jarrod When he began to work at FDA. He was and such a sweet person with a story to tell behind those eyes of his. For the ones left to grieve the loss are the ones who suffer the most. So I send to you, his family, a hug, my glass and a toast. Toast as you recall all the joy that you shared with him and hold those memories dear, so you can rejoice in the fact that no more pain will he suffer as he is released from all his agony here. May you all find the strength in one another and all those around to keep on holding on as you learn to heal.

Greetings Family and Friends:
I am a former friend and FVSU colleague of Mr. Collier. My name is Michelle Williams. He & I met as incoming freshmen in the summer 1996!
We were each other's first college friends! Sadly, we not only lost contact, but we eventually lost our connection. I suppose time never quite healed our wounds.
In any case, I'm happy to read he led what appears to have been a happy, loving, passionate life.
To the family, loved ones, and close friends I offer my kindest and sincerest condolences for your loss.
Jarrod was a colleague of mine at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Washington DC. I remember him as a true professional and a delightful person. While working at the VA, he made many contributions - including helping develop the careers of junior researchers to advance them towards making contributions to improve healthcare for Veterans. As his supervisor, I recall that whenever he came into my office to talk about an issue - no matter how challenging - he always presented the situation in a very balanced way and always with his wonderful smile. His love of his family was obvious - he spoke so fondly of his Mother and his large extended family - and so enjoyed planning the family reunion in DC. I send my deepest condolences to Jarrod's family on this huge loss. Miriam Smyth
I met Jarrod in highschool, through his baby sister Myoshe, it was a shock when I heard of his passing. my prayers go out to his family.. I know he meant a lot to the people he came in contact with . He will be truly missed.. From the Kindleys
Jarrod's was the absolute best co-worker brother ever! We both came to FDA during COVID and we instantly became each other's confidant. Work will never be the same without him! I pray the family finds peace and strength today knowing their son, brother, uncle and cousin was truly loved and respected! Gone too soon, but never forgotten!
God bless you all!

Jarrod was a great person and co-worker. He was kind, caring and loyal. Although we no longer worked together at the Department of Veterans Affairs we stayed in touch and I will sincerely miss him, especaily when remembering quiet productive Fridays in the office in D.C. before the pandemic. He made the VA a better place to work. Praying for family and friends today and in the days to come. I miss you, Buddy! --Love, Donna (Donna Lucindia Shouse and family, Lawrenceburg, Kentucky)
To the family,
My continued prayers and condolences to you. I worked with Jarrod at FDA, and although we didn't have the opportunity to work together very long, his personality and deep voice filled the room. It was a great pleasure to get to know and work with him. May the lessons he taught and especially the love he gave, stay in your hearts forever❤️.

BROTHER (cause that's what you were to many people) it's taken me a few days to write this. Struggled with how to honor you. I've decided the word that comes to mind is Humility. You were the most humble brother I knew. Gonna miss beating you in spades, showing you I'm the superior fishermen, and I'm going to miss the lessons you taught me. Friday after work won't be the same. I know you looking at all this love you've been getting and are just blown away. No more new memories, but the ones we had will never fade. Rest well the MAN the MYTH the LEGEND the BROTHER. Condolences to the family he LOVED you all so much! -Jo Johnson

I, too, met Jarrod thru working together. A smart, witty and happy person. The group of us that found each other through our work, was unmatched! The laughs were nonstop. Jarrod was open and kind upon first meeting. He had that Southern charm and hospitality. He reminded me of my younger brother. So, this news rocked me to my core. I have yet to meet a kinder person.
My prayers are for the loved ones of Jarrod. May you find comfort knowing he is in his heavenly Father's arms. May God comfort you and guide you through this profound loss and grief. Please accept my deepest and most sincere condolences.🕊️🌹🙏🏼
Jarrod and I met at work in DC, since we both was from Georgia we click like a seat belt. Jarrod, Carlton and I have shared plenty of laughs (almost getting kicked out of the office) on a daily basis. One of the funniest memories was when I got him a builder bear with a Falcons uniform and sat it in his chair at work and told him "the days you are not here at work I will come over and talk to the bear they kinda look a like" I miss days of us hanging out after work the laughs and all the nicknames. Your laugh was priceless and will truly be missed my FRIEND Love ya to the moon and back. Wishing I could talk and laugh with you one more time. Rest easy my friend.😘

This man will definitely be missed. To the family, I can only imagine what you are going through. You had him in what may seems like a short time but undoubtedly a good time. He is only physically not here, we can all keep him with us through memories and thoughts of him. I feel like I know you all from what he shared with me about you. There was plenty of love there. From his no nonsense attitude, grabbing your stomach laughs, solving all the worlds problems in quick chats and heart-to-heart conversations, again he will be missed. My brother and fishing partner from another mother was one of the best fast-friends and brothers I could ask for. Its sad to think that I won't get a call telling me how fat, old a horrible friend or how much I want to be like him and that he knows he is my idol. If anyone would hear how we left each other messages they would definitely say "Nope, they are not friends/brothers but when you get to the end of his or my message it always ended with, "I love you brother, call me back". I am saving our last messages to listen to when I think of you my brother or need to hear from my "Idol" and make me laugh.
My message to my brother Jarrod "J-Rod Jenkins": "I love you brother, wishing I could call you back"
Sending our Condolences and Prayers to the Family.
