Dear Marilyn, Elaine and I and all the members of our Sunday group want to express our sorrow for Mama Carter's passing. We all came to know her while listening to her give God's word in her soft rhythmic elderly voice. Thankfully the Word says, (2 Corinthians 5:8) says: We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. For (Psalm 116:15): Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints. For they return to Him Now I would like to share something with you that helped many who have lost someone. It is called "Safely Home." I pray that it will minister to you and others who have lost a dear one.

Our hearts were broken and we were saddened to learn of the death of Mama Carter. She was a most beautiful mother, wife, sister, aunt, cousin, grandmother and friend.

But God has given us the strength to fight through sorrow and pain on this earth. Psalm 34:18 says, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit."
