The funeral services of the late Ms. Kayla Mashea Jackson, who departed this life on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from the Greater New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Sylvester, Georgia. Reverend Charles L. Carr, Pastor, will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will follow in the Shepard Memorial Garden Cemetery in Sylvester, Georgia. On June 8, 1987, a very special, loving, full of life, kind soul was born: Kayla Mashae Jackson, also known as “Big Kay”. Kayla attended schools in the Worth County Public School System and Worth County High School. She made friends everywhere she went.
Kayla’s life was full of cheer, laughter, and joy and she gave this to everyone that she came in contact with. Her love for God was known and she never stopped trusting God.
On April 2, 2025, Kayla went to be with our Heavenly Father and resting in His arms. Kayla’s love will live on in the hearts of her parents, Melvin and Suzanne Jackson; her son, Jordan Jackson; her sisters, Shamika Jackson, Melissa Jackson, Shawana Jackson; her brother, Melvin Jackson, Jr.; her nieces, Ty’nnuna Brown, Jaylasia Curtis, Janyia Jackson; her nephews, Jarden Banini, Jaisen Banini, Javis Jackson; her uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and loved ones who were blessed to have known her.
Her smile, her laugh, her sense of humor, and her willingness to help others will remain and everlasting memory.
