Our beloved Linda Michelle Vail was a cherished mother, sister, and daughter whose presence brought love, warmth, and joy to everyone blessed to know her. Linda was born on January 5, 1967 in Ashburn, Georgia to Mr. Clarence Gaskins and Mrs. Mary Vail. Linda was educated in the Turner County Public School System, and graduated from Turner County High School in 1987.

Linda gave her life to Christ and joined the Friendship Baptist Church. She was a faithful servant of God and a devoted churchgoing member who served on the Usher Board. Her faith was a beautiful reflection of the life she lived.

Linda had a heart for people and a smile that could brighten any room. She was deeply loved throughout her community where her kindness, genuine spirit, and loving personality left a lasting impression on so many. She found joy in the simple things in life, especially cooking for the people she loved and spending precious time with her beloved grandson, Tyrese Junior, who held a very special place in her heart and was already in love with her granddaughter that will arrive here soon.

To know Linda was to experience her love, her laughter, and that unforgettable smile. Her life was a blessing, her memory will forever be a treasure, and her love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Linda was called from Labor to Eternal Rest on September 3, 2026 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Vail and Clarence Gaskins, and her siblings Dora Mae Gaskins Martin and Etha Mae Baker.
