Obituary For Phil Crapp
The funeral services for the late Mr. Phil Crapp, who departed this life on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Pruitt Palmyra Nursing Home in Albany, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from the Shipp's Funeral Home Chapel in Sylvester, Georgia. Burial will follow in the Shepard Memorial Garden Cemetery in Sylvester, Georgia. Mr. Phil "Doc" Crapp was born on April 19, 1949 in Sylvester, Georgia to the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur and Uradell Anderson Crapp. He spent his entire life living in Worth County.
As a youth, Phil had dreams and aspirations of becoming a police officer. As a young man, still wanting to be an officer, Phil was given a nightstick, a badge, and a policeman's cap, as he assumed to "patrol" the community in his effort to help keep everyone safe.
Phil gave up this busy walk of life on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Pruitt Health Palmyra Nursing Home in Albany, Georgia.
Phil leaves to cherish his memories a sister, Mary Margaret Crapp; a brother, Robert Crapp; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
