Such a tragic loss for all who knew her! Praying for peace and comfort for family and friends!!Nell Mathis
Miss Rose always had a smile on her face. When I lived in Ashburn she would help me with my housekeeping. I loved seeng her every week. One thing I will say is that she was such a good cook. I loved her fried chicken, greens, and cornbread. My husband and I always jumped at the chance to pick up a plate from her house. The last time I saw her was a couple of years ago at the Piggly Wiggly. She had just left church. She looked beautiful in her white dress and big hat. The most beautiful thing was her big beautiful smile. Now she is smiling in Heaven looking at the wonderful face of God! You know she is happy!!

My condolences to the family
My sincere condolences to this beautiful and loving family. I often think about when we moved to Georgia from Alabama. We moved next door to Mrs. Rose, Mr. Bob, and family. At the time, I had a brother that was sick with leukemia. My mom was back and forth to Augusta with him. Mrs. Rose and family took my sister and I in, and cared for us, as if we were their very own, while my mom was with my brother. From then to now, they've always shown us love. I will never forget that. I don't consider you all friends, I consider you all family. Your love and kindness has never swayed. I love you all dearly, and you all are forever in my heart, my thoughts and prayers. God bless you.
