Obituary For Timothy Germaine Holmes

The funeral services for the late Mr. Timothy Holmes, who departed this life on Thursday, January 2, 2026, will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. from the Friendship Baptist Church in Ashburn, Georgia. Reverend Jerry Lewis will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will follow in the Westview Memorial Cemetery in Ashburn, Georgia.

Mr. Timothy Holmes was born on November 12, 1990, to Gerald and Dorothy Holmes. Growing up in a military family, he lived in various locations, including Germany and Fort Bragg. He attended and graduated from Continental Academy.

Known as “Lil Tim,” he enjoyed drawing, painting, and tattoo artistry. He was a jokester who loved making others laugh. He loved to sing, although according to his sister “he couldn’t sing a lick.”

On January 2, 2026, Timothy completed his earthly journey and entered eternal rest. Though his physical presence is gone, his spirit remains forever in the hearts of those who loved him dearly.

Timothy is survived by his wife, Sharonda Holmes; his children Kye, Kane, Nova, D.J., and bonus daughter Nadi; parents Gerald and Dorothy Holmes of Fayetteville, N.C.; siblings Carsharee (Rodney) of Fayetteville, N.C. and Andre (Anna) Brown of Florida; nephews Jacorie, Adrian, My’Heir; nieces Taylor and Ariya. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
