The funeral services for the late Mr. Willie Clyde “Tee” Munford, who departed this life on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, will be held on Sunday, December 22, at 11:00 a.m. from the New Willow Grove Baptist Church in Poulan, Georgia. Reverend Tracy Cheevers, Pastor, will deliver the Eulogy. Burial will follow in the Shepard Memorial Garden Cemetery. Mr. Willie Clyde Munford was born on May 20, 1946, in Sylvester, GA to the late Reverend Eddie Bee Munford, Sr. & the late Narcissus Glenn Munford.
Early in life, Willie confessed his faith in Christ and joined the New Willow Grove Baptist Church in Poulan, GA, where he served faithfully as the Chairman of the Deacon Board, even in his sickness.
Willie Clyde Munford received his education in the Worth County School System and graduated from J.W. Holley High School in 1965. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served his country for 7 years, leaving the Air Force with an Honorable Discharge.
On July 3, 1972, Willie married the love of his life, Mrs. Annette W. Munford and this union was blessed with six children and two bonus daughters.
Our beloved Willie Clyde “Tee” Munford was called home peacefully to his final resting place on December 17, 2024 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, GA surrounded by his wife & children. He was preceded in death by his parents Rev. Eddie Bee, Sr. and Mrs. Narcissus Munford.
Willie Clyde Munford leaves to cherish his sweet and loving memories to his wife of 52 years, Mrs. Annette W. Munford; their loving children, Neal Williams, Pamela Williams, Ginneski (Cynthia) Munford, Terrance (Shenicka) Munford, Latecia (Tracy) Cheevers, and Keyonya Munford all of Sylvester, GA; his bonus daughters, LaKeysia (Christopher) McGill of Sylvester, GA April White of Albany, GA; twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; his only & devoted brother, Eddie B Munford, Jr. of Sylvester, GA; a special & loving aunt, Mapil “Doll” Davis of Sylvester, GA; sisters-in-law, LaConya (Kevin) Turnstall of Lilburn, GA, Vernesta Jordan, Delois Ewings, Marcia Smith, all of Sylvester, GA, Alfreda Slaughter of Doerun, GA, Cynthia (Charles) Johnson of Moultrie, GA; brothers-in-law, Eddie (Delois) Gammage of Frostproof, FL, Ernest (Priscilla) Ewings, Sr of Ocala, FL, Gregory Ewings, Joe B. Hope, and Floyzell (Sabrina) Johnson, Jr., all of Sylvester, GA; a Special nephew, Lavoski (Dorothy) Munford of Jacksonville, FL; and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
