All the memories and laughs we shared in our time together came flooding back to me when I heard of your home going. It seemed like yesterday but it has been years; it's amazing how these precious memories stay in hearts to keep us always in our life. You just slept and slipped away. The last words you said to me, etched in my mind. You said, but don't worry now. Just pray for me. I knew you were a little worried. As you tried to laugh it away. If had known it would be our last talk. I would've stayed on the phone all day. When I think back I see God working. He knew death was near,but you prayed you wouldn't suffer. Your prayers He did hear. God has a way that is so so sweet. You ate, sat down in your favorite chair. You slept and slipped away. Your last day was complete. Oh, it broke my heart into tiny pieces to hear that you were gone. But I know you're at peace now. Resting in your Master's arms. I will always keep you in my heart. Love you Cousin.
