Williston, SC - Mrs. Mattie Ryans Odom entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 17, 2023, at Aiken Regional Medical Center, Aiken, SC.
Home Going Celebration for Mrs. Mattie Ryans Odom will be conducted on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 12:00 PM at St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church, Elko, SC, with Reverend Anthony Gadson and Reverend Norman O'Neal officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter Memorial Garden. Visitation will be on Friday, July 21, 2023, at 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM at St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Mattie Ryans Odom was the daughter of the late Lura Weathersbee Ryans and the late David Ryans, Jr.
She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Odom, a daughter, Ferlecia (John) Cuthbertson, a son, Enrico "Ricky" (Cinde) Ryans and host of relatives and friends.

Miss Mattie was like a mother to me. Me and Rick often talk about her picking me up to go out to their house off of Springfield Road in the past. The earliest that I can remember was 1979. We have been family since then. My thoughts, love, and prayers go out to all that love and cared about her. I'm one of them. May she Rest In Heaven🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾
