Mr. Jack Roosevelt Stewart

Newark, NJ - Services In Loving Memory of Mr. Jack Roosevelt Stewart will be conducted on Saturday, May the 11, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Free Will Christian Ministries, with Bishop Dr. Joseph Anderson, Sr. g and Reverend Dr. Sheldon Ray, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Second Mt. Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Stewart was born to the late Darling and Mary Menerva Stewart on December 26, 1933 in Ellaville, Georgia. At an early age Jack and his family moved to New Jersey. Jack departed this life on Monday, April 22, 2019.

Jack met the love of his life, Gussella. Jack and Gussella Ray was united in holy matrimony. To this union two sons were born, Tyrone and Gabriel.

Jack's favorite pastimes were boxing, watching television, movies and playing with his grandchildren.

Jack was employed with the Newark Board of Education for over 30 years and was promoted to supervisor until he retired.

Jack was preceded in death by his parent, his loving wife, Gussella Ray Stewart and his son, Gabriel Stewart Jack is survived by: one son, Minister Tyrone (Minister Doretha) Stewart, five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and fiends.
