From my family to the loved ones of Kathleen and Charlie Simmons, we send heartfelt condolences and prayers that this beautiful couple will always be remembered for their compassion and generosity to others. Kathleen, my brilliant classmate from Mrs. Hazel Cadle's first grade class at Oakwood Elementary always looked out for others with the love of Christ, even as a six-year old child. Her light grew brighter with years as she lived out her faith in the community and left a legacy in her children that will continue to give. We love you Kathleen and Charlie. Thank you for sharing with us the gifts God gave to you. From MSHS 1968 Classmate Gwendolyn Burris Johnson July 16, 2021

My deepest condolences to the Simmons family on your loss. Kathlene was search a sweet and caring person, as we all know. We often laughed about exchanging sandwiches, in second grade, at the Oakwood Elementary School. My heart really breaks, I'm going to miss seeing her at our class reunion gatherings. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Elizabeth Williams Taylor, Martha Schofield Class of 1968.

Tawna (sister/trainer/partner sup) and family, I'm so very sorry that you all are going through this very difficult time right now. I hope that you are able to find some peace and comfort soon. I'm glad that you have family in the area so that you are able to support each other right now. You were definitely one of my rocks when my mom passed away and your kindness and words have stuck with me ever since and I'm forever grateful for your support, and to that, all I can say is that the only way to really get through is to just get by and do what you need to do right now. Just know that I am here for you if you need anything that can help you right now, even if I'm across the country. Sending you love and big, big masked hugs from the Seattle area. -Christina M., Snoqualmie, WA
