The Home Going Celebration for Miss Tobin will be Sunday, November 2, 2025, 2:00 PM at the Williston-Elko School District Auditorium, 12255 Main Street, Williston, SC 29853.

Burial will be at Barnwell County Memorial Cemetery, 11907 Highway, 278, Barnwell, SC 29812.
Visitation is on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Simmons Funeral Home of Williston & Cremation Service, 13188 Main Street Williston, SC 29853.

As a fellow school nurse, I want to extend my deepest sympathy to the family of Nurse Tobin. Her dedication, compassion, and care touched so many students and families. She will be remembered not only for the work she did but for the kindness and heart she brought into her role. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Tira was a kindhearted and caring nurse. She worked with me for several years in Community Long Term Care and helped thousands of people during her time with us. She was beautiful inside and out, and I will never forget her laugh. It was like it was filled with joy. It is hard to believe she is gone. I will be praying for all during this difficult time. May God be with you Tira, we will miss you for sure!
