Funeral services for Dr. Michelle Brown- Nelson, 65, of Orangeburg, SC, will be held 11:00am, Friday, February 28, 2025, at St. Paul Baptist Church 2259 Rowesville Road, Orangeburg, with interment to follow at Belleville Memorial Garden.
Dr. Brown-Nelson will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Dr. Brown-Nelson passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at MUSC Health Orangeburg.
Public viewing will be held Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 2-6pm.
Family and friends may visit the residence of her husband, Mr. Willie Nelson, 351 Armstrong Terrace, Orangeburg, SC, or call Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory of Orangeburg.

My condolences to the family. I worked with Michelle for a number of years at Edisto High School. She was a special soul -full of life and always there if you need her. She will be missed greatly.
Sweet classmate, we use to walk home from Whittaker when she went to visit on Maxcy Street, I lived off of Dickson Street. She got to eat some of our father's good food, she couldn't get over it.Always so nice, SIP dear friend. Love you.
