Funeral services for Mr. Allen B. Holman, 56, of 2805 Bamberg Road, Orangeburg, will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 3, 2022, at Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel, Orangeburg with interment to follow in Heavenly Rest Memorial Park, Cordova. Reverend Marshall Jackson is officiating.
Mr. Allen B. Holman was born November 23, 1965 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Daisy Mae Simmons and Adam Holman, Sr.
Allen received his formal education at Holly Hill Roberts High School in Orangeburg County. He was employed by Holly Hill Block Company and Orangeburg Food Company.
Allen faithfully worshipped at various churches during his lifetime where he learned to praise and love God.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Daisy Mae Holman; his father, Adam Holman, Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Macky and Sarah Simmons; and his paternal grandparents, Mary Jane Sweatman and David Holman.
He leaves to cherish his memories: one sister: Catherine Holman; two brothers: Adam Lee Holman and Frank Holman all of Orangeburg, SC; two aunts: Mary Prioleau of Cross, SC and Viola Lewis of Holly Hill, SC; three nieces: Taylor and Mysheria Holman of Orangeburg, SC and Sherice Holman of Ladson, SC; two step-nieces: Sabrina and Crystal Elmore of Eutawville, SC; a nephew: Alex Holman of Orangeburg, SC; best friend, Leroy Jeffcoat, Jr.; a special friend and significant other of 30 years, Mattie Simmons of Orangeburg, SC; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends
Mr. Holman passed away Friday, August 26, 2022, at his residence.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 2, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Family and friends may visit the residence of his sister, Ms. Catherine Holman, 403 Bayne Street, Orangeburg. Friends may also call Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory of Orangeburg, SC.
