Obituary For Mr. Allen Brown Jr.
Funeral services for Mr. Allen Brown Jr., 85, of Orangeburg, SC, will be held, 1:00pm, Thursday, August 20, 2026, at New Mount Zion Baptist Church, 1785 Amelia Street, Orangeburg, SC, with interment to follow at Island Cemetery in Santee, SC.
Mr. Brown will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Brown passed away Thursday, August 6, 2026.
Visitation will held Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 2:00-6:00 pm.
Family and friends may call Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory of Orangeburg.

To the Brown Family! Sending you my condolences! I met Mr. Allen Brown being a member at New Mount Zion Baptist Church! But l spent the last couple of weeks at MUSC REHABILITATION CENTER on the 4th floor at the hospital! So did Mr. Allen Brown. We had our exercises at the same time each day! So we would talk and laugh about the good times at New Mount Zion Baptist Church, and how he was not going in NO NURSING HOME! So I thank God Mr. Allen Brown that you made it in to your heavenly home! Now don't forget to look for a new barber too!Lol! Diana B. Fersner
