Funeral services for Mr. Carlson Austin, 79, of Orangeburg, SC, will be held 11:00am, Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Cornerstone Church 1481 Chestnut Street, Orangeburg, with interment to follow in Belleville Memorial Garden.
Mr. Austin passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at MUSC Health-Orangeburg.
Public viewing will take place Wednesday, September 3, 2025, from 10:00am until the hour of service, at Cornerstone Church.

Mr. Austin was the toughest A I ever earned in Financial Management at SC State way back in 1982. He and I continued as colleagues for a time and he was a fine and very interesting man, I am fortunate to have known him; he enriched my life as he did for so many. RIP
