Funeral services for Mr. Hilliard Keitt, 76, of Orangeburg, SC, will be held 2:30pm, Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel, 2868 Columbia Road, Orangeburg, with interment to follow in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery, Cameron. Rev. Julius Sistrunk is officiating.
Mr. Hilliard Keitt, son of the late Hattie Mae Keitt and late Sydney Keitt, was born January 6, 1947, in Orangeburg, SC. He departed this life August 14, 2023.
Hillard was educated in the public schools of Calhoun County and attended St. John School.
Hillard was employed by Utica Tool Company and Perry Construction for many years.
Hillard was proceeded in death by two brothers: Daniel Keitt and William Keitt.
Hillard leaves to cherish his found memories, his loving wife, Catherine Keitt; one daughter, Doris Haynes; three sons: Hillard Keitt Jr., Frankie Keitt and Alfred Keitt all of Orangeburg, SC; four sisters: Daisy Jackson, Gracie Thomas both of Orangeburg, SC, Albertha Little John, of New York, and Betty Sellers Cox of New Orleans, LA; one brother, Ernest Keitt; seven grandchildren: Lasharia Keitt, Christopher Keitt, Keon Keitt, Rashon Keitt, Derrick Haynes, Dierra Haynes and Frankie Keitt all of Orangeburg, SC; sisters-in-law: Mary Zeigler, Georgia Keitt and Ida Sistrunk; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 18, 2023, from 1:00pm - 6:00pm.
