Funeral services for Mr. Isiah L. Starks, 80, of Santee, SC, will be held 1:00pm, Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Live Oak AME Church, 9843 Old Number Six Highway, Vance, with interment to follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Starks will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Starks passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Lexington Medical Center, Lexington, SC.

Public viewing will be held Friday, February 7, 2025, from 11:00am - 6:00pm.

Family and friends may visit 135 Naval Station Road, Santee or call Simmons Funeral Home of Santee.

Dear family, Isiah was here when I arrived at Santee-Cooper Resort in October 1997 to manage the turf. He was a blessing to have as his attitude was always positive and he was always helpful. He was a blessing to have on my team. He will be missed however we know that we will see him again and for that I am grateful.
