Obituary For Mr. James L. Johnson, Sr.
Funeral services for Mr. James L. Johnson, Sr. 90, of Santee, SC, will be held 11:00am, Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Oak Grove Baptist Church, 1328 Antioch Road, Santee, with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Johnson will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Johnson passed away Sunday, February 2, 2025, at his residence.
Public viewing will be held Friday, February 14, 2025, from 1:00pm - 6:00pm.
Family and friends may visit 222 Noonie Curve Road, Santee or call Simmons Funeral Home of Santee.

Then we'd both laugh until our belly hurt and commence to catching up. Perfection is not attainable but to me you were the closest thing to it. Always there to listen and provide your priceless words of wisdom. You possessed the gift to simultaneously be firm and loving in your approach and for that I will forever be grateful. The Love and Admiration that I have for you has withstood the test of time & will never end. Please continue to watch over us. Guiding and protecting us. I hope Charity and Robert met you and they are showing you around. Please give them a big hug from me cause I'm down here missing all of you so much. Like you always told a me, I won't mourn for long but celebrate the 90 years you stood strong, agile, resilient and a true testament to what greatness is. I miss you. I love you.
