Funeral services for Mr. Jarquez Aphraion Jenkins, 18, of 177 Ginger Lake Drive, Orangeburg, SC, will be held 1:00PM Monday, November 1, 2021, at Simmons Funeral Home Chapel, 2868 Columbia Road, Orangeburg, SC with interment to follow in Belleville Memorial Gardens, 2900 Belleville Road, Orangeburg, SC. Rev. Levon Mintz is officiating.
Mr. Jarquez Aphraion Jenkins, affectionately known as "Bud" was born August 24, 2003, in Orangeburg, South Carolina to Ebony T. Jenkins. He entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.
Bud was a senior on track to graduate with his fellow classmates in June 2022 from The High School for Health Professions Charter School. He enjoyed playing online video games with his friends listing to music, as well as playing basketball.
Even though Bud had many health issues, you would have never known by the strength he exhibited. Bud was a true and trail that came his way with a smile.
Those who will most cherish his memory are his loving mother, Ebony T. Jenkins, and Earl Warren who took on the role of being the father figure in his life of the home; his sister, Ke'zia Bantan of Greenville, SC; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted (Stacey) Kinard of Bamberg, SC; two uncles who were like his big brothers: Theo and Terrell Kinard both of Greenville, SC; uncles: Johnny (LaVeda) Jenkins and Abendnego Jenkins of Orangeburg, SC; extended brothers: DeShawn Murphy and Terrell Bovain; two good friends: Spencer Yates and Justin Eaddy; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, October 31, 2021.
