I had the privilege of serving with this man back in Fort Knox Kentucky. 1987 - 88. He was the First Sergeant (1SG) of our company. I was his and the CO's driver. A good man whom I looked up to for guidance. An Army memory from popped into my head today and I began to search for some familiar faces and names. Sad to see he has passed , hope his family is doing well in his absence. Rest in Peace 1SG.
