I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Mark at Qwest Communications. We were good friends and kept in touch even after QWEST. I have been reaching out to him as I knew he was sick and found this. I'm so sorry for your loss he was a very sweet man. My condolences to the Hubbard family from Tamla Hawkins.
I had the pleasure of working with Mark back at HHS. We both really connected and he was one of the funniest people I ever met. Both Mark, myself, Tunisia, Lawrence, Gabriella, Nazia, Guiseppe and others worked so well together...like a family, and looked out for each other.
Mark and I even stayed in touch for a while after I left my contract. He was so fun to be around, and knew how to entertain. I thank him for serving our country, and give my condolences to his family, for he left us so soon.
My sincerest condolences to Mrs. Hubbard, Shelbie and the extended family. I was thinking about Mark a couple weeks ago and decided to look him up to see that he had passed. Mark and I had an undefinable connection and although we were unable to make it work as a couple he made an everlasting impression in my life. Rest in Peace, Mark.
Prayers and Gods Comfort and Peace. I am saddened today to learn of Marks passing. I worked with him when we both worked at EPA, and he was always kind, a good person, caring, and gave all that he had to work. I remember Mark always loving and being passionate about his job at the EPA, working long hours. I remember Mark telling me about his family, and I was So happy that someone would be close by and being there for him. I am truly saddened and will miss Mark, he unconditionally loved and gave to Everyone.
Sincerely, Iesha and Douglas Alexander

My deepest condolences and sympathy to Mrs. Hubbard and the entire Hubbard family. ~Tunisia
Mrs. Hubbard and the Hubbard family, the world lost the remarkable son, brother, uncle, and father when Mark physically departed this earth. Mark was an amazing, loving, giving, intelligent, respectful, funny, caring, and sweet man who truly gave himself to help others in any way that he could. Mark and I worked together in multiple agencies, knew a lot of the same people, and shared many experiences and friend together... last at HHS. Mark was a protector, a little big teddy bear brother who always looked out for not just me, but everyone he cared about. I was so concerned about Mark and his health after returning to work after my daddy died and Mark finally discovered what made me sick, which ultimately affected his health as well. We continued to discuss our health issues and other experiences with our HHS crew and communicated almost daily and then frequently as his health declined. Although Mark was great at being helpful and being there for you, he had difficulty accepting assistance or asking for it. We, as his friends and colleagues were always there for him as he was for us but it became more difficult with the pandemic. I wish that we could have been there to get him through this. He will always remain in our hearts as well as he remains in yours through loving, funny, touching memories. Rest in power my beautiful brother, you deserved soooooo much more from life including the unconditional love that you spread throughout the world. You will never be forgotten. ~Tunisia R. Dunn
Praying your comfort during this time. Know that he continues to live in your heart as long as you keep the memories close. He was a wonderful co-worker when he worked at EPA.
I worked with Mark for several years and he was so very kind, generous and dedicated to his work, his colleagues, and the EPA. He was a friend to everyone and always had time to help on any issue, whether work related or to spend a minute, to provide friendship. His job was to provide security expertise and I always felt in the best of hands, cared for and protected. We have lost a dear person and I extend my deepest sympathies to his family. Maja Lee

I served with Mark in the US Navy. He was an awesome sailor and a truly kind and humble person. He would literally give you the shirt off his back and ask for nothing in return. The world has lost a bright and shinning light. My prayers and condolences are with his family and friends. - Sharon (Wallace) Robinson.
My condolences to the Hubbard Family in the passing of their son, and my friend Mark. I was a c-worker of Mark's for several years, and he and I had many, many "in-depth" discussion around sports--he was and avid WFT fan, as am I, and we hit it off from day-one. i really missed our talks after he became ill, and know the the Lord finds him a in a better place, and a welcome addition to the angels in Heaven. Rest in Peace my Brother, and may the Lord's eternal light shine for you!
Mark was one of the most supportive, loving and kind person I ever had the honor of knowing. He was there for me when my Mom passed suddenly in 2009. I love him like a brother and know he leaves a giant hole in everyone's heart. Mt thoughts and prayers are with his family and hundreds of friends. He will be greatly missed.
Mark and I worked together and was a great friend, co-worker, and mentor. I only got to meet him in-person once and you could just tell how much he cared about his work and doing his best always. He will most certainly be missed.
My sincere condolences to Mark's family and loved ones. Mark and I worked together, and we sat across from each other in the office for a few years. Every morning I would come into the office, Mark would always greet me with a big smile. He was a kind soul and a great listener. He was passionate about his work, and I could tell that carried over into his personal life as well. He will be greatly missed. ~Vanessa Baur
