Funeral services for Mr. Martin Rodriguez, Jr., 35, of 3204 Bannock Drive, Fort Mill, SC, will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Simmons Funeral Home Chapel and Crematory, 2868 Columbia Road, Orangeburg, with interment to follow in New Faith Community Cemetery. Reverend Pamela Jacobs is officiating.
Marty was born March 5, 1984 to Mary Nero Johnson and Martin Rodriguez, Sr., in Belle Glade, Florida.
Mr. Rodriguez passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2019 in Fort Mill, SC.
Martin graduated from Elloree High School in 2003 and was employed as a Warehouse Manager at CSC Service Works in Charlotte, NC.
He leaves to cherish precious memories, a son, Marius Rodriguez of Fairfax, VA; parents, Mary (Nathaniel) Johnson of Orangeburg, SC and Martin Rodriguez, Sr. of Belle Glade, Florida; grandmother, Corine Gary of Belle Glade, Florida; a loving God-Mother, Dorothy Adams of Belle Glade, Florida; eight sisters, Erika (Jermaine) Ellison, Toccara (DeCharles) Shivers, Charlesicia (Justin) Kinley, Jermira Nero, Alma Rodriguez, Veronica Rodriguez, Gloria (Gregory) Benjamin, and Tawanna Owens; four brothers, Robert "Lil Rob" Nero, IV, Nayrone Shivers, Tyrell Shivers and Adrian Goodwin; one God Sister, Quiya Ross; one God Brother, icardo Adams; nine aunts, Gloria (leonard) Rolle, Yvonneya Gary, Gloria Rodriguez, Rosa Rodriguez, Emma (Rev. Visitation will be held 4:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, July 10, 2019.
The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, Mrs. Mary Nero Johnson, 123 Tyke Court, Orangeburg, SC or Simmons Funeral Home Crematory and Chapel.
