Obituary For Mr. Nathaniel Harmon
Funeral services for Mr. Nathaniel Harmon, 81, of St. Matthews, SC, will be held 11:00am, Thursday, August 31, 2023, at Shiloh AME Church, 2902 W Cleveland St, Elloree, SC, with interment to follow in Providence AME Church Cemetery, St. Matthews, SC.
Mr. Harmon will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2023, from 1:00pm - 6:00pm.

I'm pretty sure this is the Nathaniel B. Harmon that was a Food Supervisor/Director for the South Carolina Department of Corrections. I want to say Mr. Harmon not only treated me well but he made sure I stayed safe in prison. I worked directly for him and when they would transfer him to open a new prison he would take me with him. I have so many good stories of his kindness and how he said as a positive male role model for me. I'll never forget him.
