Obituary For Mr. Robert David Howard, Jr.

Funeral services for Mr. Robert David Howard, Jr., 61, of 1241 Union Street, Orangeburg, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel. Pastor Shelia Worme is officiating.

Mr. Robert David Howard Jr. was born October 19, 1960, in New York City, New York. He was the son of the late Robert Howard Sr. and Eartha Dibble Simmons. He was raised in the home of his late grandmother, Ms. Ida Lucille Dibble of Orangeburg, South Carolina. Robert departed this life on April 21, 2022, at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

He received his education from Orangeburg County public schools. He was self employed as a painter until his health begin to fail him.

He was preceded in death by his caring and loving parents.

He leaves to cherish his fond memories, two aunts: Margaret D. Haynes and Patricia (David) Tucker both of Orangeburg, SC; one uncle, Larry (Connie) Brown of Charlotte, NC; very devoted cousins: Michael A. Allen and Taffika Haynes; special friends: Joe and Avis Jones; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Family and friend may call at Simmons Funeral Home and Crematory of Orangeburg.
