Memorial services for Mr. Stafford Lydell Law, 56, of 1096 Middle Drive, Pinewood, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Kingdom Builders Deliverance Ministries, Sumter. The Bishop Leroy T. James is officiating.
Mr. Stafford Lydell “Lawman” Law, was born December 1, 1965, in Sumter, South Carolina to Mary Louise Davis and the late Bobby James. He departed this earthly life on Friday, February 18, 2022.
He received his education in the Sumter County public schools. He was a self-employed plumber and specialized in drilling wells and sprinkler systems.
Stafford has a beautiful soul. If you knew him, you knew the Pittsburg Steelers were his favorite team. Whenever he came in contact with anyone, he would go above and beyond to help. To many of us, he was a father, grandfather, brother and friend. His best friend was Earl Green. You rarely saw one without the other. He enjoyed bowling, drag racing, fishing and socializing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby James; stepfather, Harry Lee Davis; grandparents: Stephen Law and Laura Law, Anna Nelson James, Wash Chris James; uncles: James Bobby Law, Rufus L. James and Jimmy Sinkler Sr.
Stafford leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Mary Louise Davis of Wedgefield, SC; his beloved sweetheart, Marie Gipson of Pinewood, SC; three sons: Lydell Law, Travis and Tevin Gipson all of Sumter, SC; three daughters: Nheasia Law of Sumter, SC, Alexis Dickinson of Dalzell, SC and Adriann Gipson of Jacksonville, FL; three sisters: Melissa (Terrance) Philadelphia of Charlotte, NC, Vanessa (Lawrence) Rhodes and Teresa (Prince) Davis-Amoako both of Wedgefield, SC; two brothers: Michael L. (Kristen) Davis of Harrisburg, NC and Ronald L.
